Ah, we just love a horse race!
We will have some important news for you on Monday about “The San Antone Hose” but just a quick reminder that today,
Friday, July 10, is the last day to vote early in the major party primary runoffs AND the oh-so-special Senate District 14 Jungle Primary.
We have updated our Senate District 14 page to include in depth pieces from The Austin Bulldog on the two Democratic candidates running, Rep. Eddie Rodriguez, and former Travis County Judge Sarah Eckhardt. Rodriguez has far out-fundraised Eckardt — $800,000 to $220,000. But, can all that money help him catch her???
We watched last night’s Quorum Report Forum with 5 of the 6 candidates in the SD-14 race. Groundwater and Vista Ridge were front and center! With former Austin City Councilman Don Zimmerman, Libertarian Pat Dixon and newbie independent Jeff Ridgeway added to the mix with Eckhardt and Rodrguez, this was a fast-paced and intriguing political event. If you don’t live in Travis or Bastrop County and cannot vote in this race, perhaps you know others who do. Give ’em a nudge with this message, won’t you?
Tuesday, July 14, is Election Day, so get out and vote y’all!
